Design Concept of Pavara Khiri Collection

Pavara Khiri Collection comes with the concept of “Discover the re-definition of modern tropical luxury”. The design goal is to be very distinct from our neighbor in using Thai vernacular architecture similar to the Wai positions showing off Thai nature, arts, and crafts tradition with the signature layered design.

The design was inspired by the culture and nature of Thailand. Pavara Khiri Collection has applied the heart of Thai vernacular architecture to adapt to the climate, fighting the heat with ventilation and landscape, and creating a sustainable and low energy consuming house with the passive cooling system.

Pavara Khiri Collection uses new technology of materials that last long against the weather and low maintenance. Materials are resourced locally and environmentally friendly. All woods are from sustainable forestry products. Roof tiles are recycled materials. An innovative self-clean paint is durable and increases the paint lifespan. Also, the light color scheme for low heat absorption.

The design integrates a cross-ventilation system; high ceiling for hot air, long overhang roof for weather protection, slope roof for water drainage, cool air from the pool and landscape, and openings front and back for breezy wind to flow to keep the house cool. This design helps to save energy consumption. Also, the villas are located amongst the rubber tree forest, creating privacy and exclusivity. The forest provides great views and cool air to the property.

Pavara Khiri Collection is shaped with water cascades that have borrowed the symbolic Thai temple. The Livistona Palm represents the scenery of the old temple and is indigenous to Phuket Island. Moreover, each Pool Villa has a unique design of the “Sunken lounge seating” overlooking the swimming pool. The swimming pool has been designed carefully with 10 meters of lap length, shallow pool with bubblers for the kids, and pool seating. For larger units type C and D, the pool bar counter is centrally located to serve wet and dry zones encouraging people to sit facing each other that no other projects have done before!
