Property Report by PropertyGuru, a leading real estate magazine, analyzed that Phuket is one of the potential locations and a haven for foreigners seeking a holiday home to escape the current situation in Europe. Additionally, Koh Phangan is another popular destination for those who favor workcation, and there is an increase in the development of luxury projects.

The latest edition of the DDproperty Thailand Property Market Report indicates that the price index for residential properties in Phuket increased by 8% in the fourth quarter of 2022 compared to the same quarter in the previous year. This growth was driven by an increased demand for townhouses, which saw a 4% increase quarter-on-quarter and a 25% increase compared to the previous year. The majority of residential properties in Phuket (32%) have a selling price exceeding 15 million baht.
